Sierra County partners with Plumas County to provide cost-effective library services. Our libraries are staffed by dedicated volunteers—if you're interested in helping, please contact your local library via email. Financial contributions to the Friends of the Library are always appreciated and help support additional programs as funding allows.

GET A LIBRARY CARD
Library cards are free and easy to obtain at your local branch. To apply, bring a current photo ID and proof of your current mailing address. Renew your card in person, over the phone, or through email. Additional information is available here: How to Get a Library Card

A library card will allow you access to more than just the standard print collection at your local branch.
